Real Weddings: Caitlin and Ryan

I had the pleasure of working with Caitlin and Ryan on their January Wedding. They are truly a great couple! The wedding vows were exchanged in a beautiful Irish Catholic ceremony at Church of the Epiphany and the reception hosted at the Rusty Pelican in Key Biscayne, Florida. Their wedding was a Miami destination wedding for their guests, which really enjoyed the beautiful views from the Biscayne Balcony during the cocktail hour. It was a magical day of family, friends, laughter, stories, and a beautiful couple. They were truly blessed with amazing South Florida weather and gorgeous sunset.

I helped this couple with their Day of Coordination. Caitlin was an amazing DIY Bride and very, very, very organized (a planner's dream!).

That day they both seemed to beam with happiness.
I am so honored to have worked with them!

Congratulations Caitlin and Ryan Lagan!

Bridal Advice Alert:
WeddingWire.com is a great resource for brides in the market. Past brides rate their vendors as well as vendors rate each other. It is a great tool to see what other brides experienced and aids in deciding which vendors to book!

I utilized this tool while planning my wedding and utilize it as a vendor, and love it!

Miss Valdes-Lora to Mrs Ruiz-Castañeda

What a whirlwind December 2009 was! The month seemed to just move so fast, I was trying to keep up with it. It finally came, December 26, 2009, the day that seemed to never arrive. I was getting married to the love of my life. I could not believe it, two years of planning and coordinating would come down to a 15 hour day of hair, make-up, photos, dress, walking down the aisle, I Do!, dancing, dinner, and then honeymoon.

It was a beautiful Miami day, 65 degrees and sunny. I could not have asked for anything more. The day ran so smoothly, no interruptions. My bridesmaids worked so hard to make everything so easy for me. All my vendors worked so hard to make my day so special.

The next thing I knew, my Dad is walking me down the long Epiphany aisle towards the man of my dreams, as Tito's "million dollar smile" kept beaming at me I couldn't be more excited. By the time I knew it, we were taking family photos and then off to the reception to party with 100 of our closest friends and 300 family members.

The reception was a dream, a vision I designed and brought to life. Thanks to Gregory Paul Photography, it was captured perfectly! Check out their blog for more images: Gregory Paul Blog

With the help of Pablo Maes and his staff at the InterContinental Hotel, my wedding was an absolute dream! Pablo, thank you for going above and beyond, the true testament of dedication!
